2012 January mark another new beginning to more great food and great relationship .
Living a low-carb lifestyle for almost 3 years, I have come to understand how my body response with the choice of healthy food I eat everyday. Now, enjoy eating delicious food and keeping slim is no more a challenge for me. Most importantly, my lipid profile test for blood sugar , cholesterol and triglyceride level are at the healthiest of my life.
Do I live to eat or eat to live? Both, I think. I wakes up every morning thinking what’s for breakfast. And after breakfast, what’s for lunch? After lunch, what’s for dinner? And what about tomorrow? And where should we go out and eat this weekend? Honestly, I do expect every meal to be great. ๐
For the last many years, I have been exploring different country, different food culture and tasting delicious food where ever I may go. Now cooking delicious food with the freshest produce I can find is my hobby. Food is major part of my life and my passion.
From south east Asia, North America, Europe and many more each year! Durian, chili crab, satay, rojak, curry etc. in Singapore. Lao’s home-cook meal in Luang Prabang. Khmer food in Cambodia. Green and red curry, basil chicken, crispy fish, Tom-yum soup in Thailand. Fresh seafood in Australia. Braai in South Africa. Tapas and olive in Spain. Italy, Switzerland and more in North America!
Low-carb lifestyle is so much more fulfilling when we have plenty of delicious food to chose from.

Yes, would love the Cauliflower Pizza Crust recipe (that you had given me but lost it somehow). Sounds intriguing. I did have a question about how to use Lemon Grass – Because for Superbowl Sunday, we made Crab Cioppino, we make it every year for my Bob – and our son Rob’s birthday’s, yes they have the same birthday, Feb 3rd, and it was my dad’s BD too! I used two stalks of Lemon Grass, cut it at both ends and had 4 pieces – my family loved the aroma coming from the kitchen all day as it simmered, and could smell the garlic lol! It was yummy, we make it and gets better each year. This year I also used Thai Fish Sauce, White Wine, lots and lots of garlic, onions, peppers, sausage, crabs (that we bought off the pier here); baby bay shrimp, prawns, baby scallops – and celery and carrots (to sweeten the broth), dry oregano, etc etc. Anyway it was lots fun. I served a nice green salad – Garlic Cheesy Bread, and baked a pineapple cake that I saw on, Just a Pinch, called, The Preacher’s Cake – it has become our fav cake, easy always a hit! Also, fresh strawberries dipped in chicolate! I used Nutella for the ease and taste of Hazelnuts. Wow!
Have you found the recipes of the cauliflower yet Angelina? I actually have it in the blog here “Pizza with no guilt”.
Crab Cioppino sounds really interesting! It must be very delicious too I bet! I would love to try your cooking some day. ๐ Thanks for asking about the lemon grass. I was just writing a list of things to work on sharing and lemon grass is one of them! Besides that, also ginger and garlic etc.
I’m going to work on that and share it here! Thank you!
