This is a delicious fat and collagen filled, fall-off-the-bone pork trotter you got to try!
The preparation is easy and just let the slow cooker do its work.
It takes about 10 minutes to prep the ingredients and 4.5-5 hours cooking in a slow cooker, depending on how big is the cut
This portion i had serves 3 portions. For my husband and I, we each had a portion and have leftovers.
This cut of meat is very high fat. You don’t need a lot to feel satisfy.
Ingredients you need:
1 section of the pork trotter with skin on
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Herb de Provance
1 tablespoon garlic powder
!/2 cup red onion, chopped
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon dried parsley for garnish
First, rub the whole pork trotter with salt, pepper, herb de Provence and garlic powder. Place the pork trotter in the pot. Scattered chopped onion around it. Add coconut aminos and heavy cream around it. set on high to cook for 4.5 – 5 hours.
That’s it!
When is done, use a big spatula to lift the whole pork trotter onto a platter. Sprinkle with parsley and share among your dining partner.
