This aromatic steamed sesame chicken is a dish my mother used to prepare in her kitchen. This is a perfect Keto dish with nutritious protein and fat.

Here is the recipe
- 1 whole (1.5 pound) chicken
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon tamari
- 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
- 8 slices ginger
- Cut the chicken by separating the legs and wings. Cut the chicken breast keeping the bones in. keep the rest of the bones for making chicken broth another time.
- Place the chicken in a heatproof big bowl. Add all the ingredients to marinate the chicken. Tuck the ginger around the chicken.
- Using a wok (or a steamer), steam the chicken above the water for about 30 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast shows 160F. Remove the chicken from the heat and ready to serve.
